Mechanical Field Service Engineer
Baker HughesField Specialist performing installation and maintenance activities of HGT or CECO equipment at customer sites for Baker Hughes. Coordinating with customer representative and maintaining service quality standards.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Performing in autonomy some of the Installation and/or Maintenance activities of HGT or CECO equipment in the Field at Customer Sites
- Being responsible to perform minor/major maintenance of equipment following the Service Site Quality Check Lists and procedures
- Being the primary contact to work with the Customer Representative and Site Team to coordinate activities at the Customer Job Site
- Providing records of all activities accomplished at Customer Site to the Baker Hughes Supervisor and promotes and maintains good team relations
- Executing all required responsibilities safely by following all Service applicable processes and procedures
- Conducting all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes Core Values (HSE, Quality and Compliance)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Have Two-year Technical Degree preferred and industry experience
- Turbomachinery Product Services product line training required
- At least 2yrs of experience with mechanical maintenance procedures with heavy duty gas turbines or centrifugal compressors
- Have functional / Technical, Customer Focus, Communication, Interpersonal, and Teamworking Skills
