About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Working with ITO to understand the client’s construction or production objectives as well as the commercial terms for Baker Hughes.
Giving input on engineering hours to CTRs.
Collaborating with all engineering disciplines to ensure all aspects and constraints of the scope and suggested products/services have been considered.
Coordinating with ITO to ensure any risk of not meeting the client’s objective is communicated to the client using the appropriate channels/processes for the respective client.
Comparing job as-planned versus job as-executed, documenting any lessons learned, and developing recommendations for future to ensure continuous improvement takes place.
Advising on product improvement opportunities for repetitive component/product failures.
Providing sales support and product application recommendations, such as technical write-up and scope of supply for selected solution.
Handling product line specific responsibilities as applicable.
Managing special projects as required.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Preferably to have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
Other relevant experience can compensate for lacking formal education.
Have experience with workover control systems or production HPU designs is a benefit.
Have experience and knowledge of relevant oil and gas industry standards such as API, ISO, NORSOK, IEC and EN standards.
Have experience and knowledge of hazardous area equipment (Ex) and relevant standards (ATEX / IECEx).
Be fluent in English.
