About the role

  • Working with ITO to understand the client’s construction or production objectives as well as the commercial terms for Baker Hughes.
  • Giving input on engineering hours to CTRs.
  • Collaborating with all engineering disciplines to ensure all aspects and constraints of the scope and suggested products/services have been considered.
  • Coordinating with ITO to ensure any risk of not meeting the client’s objective is communicated to the client using the appropriate channels/processes for the respective client.
  • Comparing job as-planned versus job as-executed, documenting any lessons learned, and developing recommendations for future to ensure continuous improvement takes place.
  • Advising on product improvement opportunities for repetitive component/product failures.
  • Providing sales support and product application recommendations, such as technical write-up and scope of supply for selected solution.
  • Handling product line specific responsibilities as applicable.
  • Managing special projects as required.

Requirements

  • Preferably to have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
  • Other relevant experience can compensate for lacking formal education.
  • Have experience with workover control systems or production HPU designs is a benefit.
  • Have experience and knowledge of relevant oil and gas industry standards such as API, ISO, NORSOK, IEC and EN standards.
  • Have experience and knowledge of hazardous area equipment (Ex) and relevant standards (ATEX / IECEx).
  • Be fluent in English.
