About the role
- Working with ITO to understand the client’s construction or production objectives as well as the commercial terms for Baker Hughes.
- Giving input on engineering hours to CTRs.
- Collaborating with all engineering disciplines to ensure all aspects and constraints of the scope and suggested products/services have been considered.
- Coordinating with ITO to ensure any risk of not meeting the client’s objective is communicated to the client using the appropriate channels/processes for the respective client.
- Comparing job as-planned versus job as-executed, documenting any lessons learned, and developing recommendations for future to ensure continuous improvement takes place.
- Advising on product improvement opportunities for repetitive component/product failures.
- Providing sales support and product application recommendations, such as technical write-up and scope of supply for selected solution.
- Handling product line specific responsibilities as applicable.
- Managing special projects as required.
Requirements
- Preferably to have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
- Other relevant experience can compensate for lacking formal education.
- Have experience with workover control systems or production HPU designs is a benefit.
- Have experience and knowledge of relevant oil and gas industry standards such as API, ISO, NORSOK, IEC and EN standards.
- Have experience and knowledge of hazardous area equipment (Ex) and relevant standards (ATEX / IECEx).
- Be fluent in English.
