About the role
- Being responsible for Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development including qualifications, action plans, audits and performance monitoring.
- Driving supplier selection through robust qualification processes. Accelerating improvements in supplier quality and deliver value.
- Tracking project progress and ensure on time delivery.
- Developing positive relationships and work closely with Sourcing Leaders to manage and implement supplier/engineering changes, New Product Introductions, and transfers.
- Interfacing with Suppliers and Supply chain to drive Quality improvements.
- Delivering results by key metrics-Cost of Quality/Cost of Failure, qualification on time rate, supplier quality plan engagement/effectiveness and corrective/preventative action closure.
- Driving improvements utilizing Supplier Scorecards and own Supplier audit, ensuring supplier compliance, and driving improvement plans.
Requirements
- Have a Bachelor with Major in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering or relevant.
- Have 3+ years SQE experience with related industries like power Generation, Oil and Gas, Automobile, Railway etc
- Be familiar with equipment or part like inlet/exhaust/fluid system, pressure vessel/heat exchanger/Generator Base/gear box(reducer)/tree frame/pipeline or machining parts.
- Have fluent English and Chinese Speaking and Writing capability.
- Show the ability to lead and coordinate several projects simultaneously.
- Have an analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems and identify solutions.
