About the role

  • As our Region Sales Representative for Wellbore Intervention, you'll be ideally based in Stavanger serving clients in the region.
  • You will have full accountability for achieving the business development and account objectives.
  • You will lead and coordinate the demand, generation and creation of a solid pipeline of opportunities and promote cooperation between all departments to deliver performance excellence within the organisation.
  • You'll be customer facing and responsible for expanding existing, winning new business, contributing to sales planning and defining sales strategy for targeted clients.
  • Being part of team developing the sales and commercial strategy of the product line for the region
  • Executing strategies to drive growth targeting potential customers in the upstream sector.
  • Identifying opportunities to penetrate the market where Baker Hughes currently has a limited share.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of our customers.
  • Building strong relationships with key decision-makers within the targeted customer base
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities for growth.
  • Providing regular updates on account performance, market trends and growth opportunities to senior management
  • Studying market trends, understanding the environment, customer challenges and the competitive landscape
  • Establishing trusting relationships with customers and partners, developing customer intimacy and early engagement
  • Establishing our brand and technology, organising technology updates and participation at industry symposiums

Requirements

  • Have considerable experience in a customer facing role in the oil and gas sector.
  • Have experience in fishing sales
  • A good track record in a service delivery, field or offshore role where you can demonstrate customer interaction.
  • Demonstrate technical competence in Wellbore Intervention applications.
  • Strong knowledge in Fishing, slot recovery, plug and abandonment, Casing Exits, Well Bore Clean Up
  • Have the ability to consultant on a technical or commercial level to our customers and build successful and strategic relationships.
  • Possess good market intelligence and commercial awareness as well as the ability to get involved in technical development issues.
  • Have excellent communication skills with both the ability to work on own initiative and within a team environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Have a sound understanding of the tendering process
  • Be ready to travel across the Northern Continental Shelf
