About the role

  • Lead all technical and commercial related actions required for a successful preparation of proposals.
  • Ensure a winning strategy to profitable grow sales by driving the understanding of the installed configuration, technical requisites, technical risks and cost and margin estimation.
  • Identify the best technical and commercial solution for Waygate offerings.
  • Develop proposals; ensuring deals deliver shareholder value and driving competitive pricing.
  • Review customer requirements including compiling and submitting required tender documentation, understanding risk, creating mitigation plans and customer budget to maximize added value.
  • Identify and build long-term strategic relationships with key customers to develop winning opportunities and long-term strategies.
  • Support the commercial organization through up-selling, deal closing and new opportunity discussions with customers.
  • Manage the ITO/OTR hand-over to local team to provide guidance during the execution when required.
  • Ensure a continuous improvement and incorporation of best-practices during the proposal phase through championing profitability and growth.

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in STEM subject from an accredited college or university.
  • Have up to 3 years of previous experience in a commercial or technical role.
  • Be able to shape and successfully execute complex projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate experience of working with cross-functional teams within a global-matrix environment.
  • Be detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to influence and lead others.
  • Be able to travel at short notice within the region (around 5-10% of the time).
  • Be able to adapt in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances in a fast-changing environment.
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills.
  • Proven analytical and organizational ability.
