About the role

  • Own the UX/product direction for baesh across onboarding, discovery, event flows, community interactions, and retention loops
  • Translate the company vision into a clear product roadmap, prioritized by impact on activation, engagement, and retention
  • Define success metrics, hypotheses, and experiments
  • Run regular user interviews and usability tests, especially with Gen Z / young millennials
  • Create lightweight research plans and turn them into actionable product decisions
  • Build and maintain feedback loops: surveys, in-app prompts, churn reasons, and community-driven insights
  • Design key flows and interaction patterns, with strong attention to detail and delight
  • Improve “fun” factors: gamification, spontaneity, social mechanics, and micro-interactions that increase engagement
  • Work closely with engineering to ship quickly with high UX quality
  • Collaborate on AI-assisted workflows

Requirements

  • Strong track record in UX/Product Design or Product Management with deep UX ownership
  • Proven ability to improve activation/retention through product iteration
  • Comfort working in early-stage environments
  • Excellent UX craft: flows, interaction design, usability, and visual polish
  • Strong product thinking: prioritization, experimentation, metrics, and user behavior
  • Ability to run user interviews independently and convert insights into shipped improvements.
  • German knowledge required (you’ll research and validate with German-speaking users).
