About the role
- Own the UX/product direction for baesh across onboarding, discovery, event flows, community interactions, and retention loops
- Translate the company vision into a clear product roadmap, prioritized by impact on activation, engagement, and retention
- Define success metrics, hypotheses, and experiments
- Run regular user interviews and usability tests, especially with Gen Z / young millennials
- Create lightweight research plans and turn them into actionable product decisions
- Build and maintain feedback loops: surveys, in-app prompts, churn reasons, and community-driven insights
- Design key flows and interaction patterns, with strong attention to detail and delight
- Improve “fun” factors: gamification, spontaneity, social mechanics, and micro-interactions that increase engagement
- Work closely with engineering to ship quickly with high UX quality
- Collaborate on AI-assisted workflows
Requirements
- Strong track record in UX/Product Design or Product Management with deep UX ownership
- Proven ability to improve activation/retention through product iteration
- Comfort working in early-stage environments
- Excellent UX craft: flows, interaction design, usability, and visual polish
- Strong product thinking: prioritization, experimentation, metrics, and user behavior
- Ability to run user interviews independently and convert insights into shipped improvements.
- German knowledge required (you’ll research and validate with German-speaking users).
