About the role

  • Own a customer-facing product that is powered by an interactive AI workflow.
  • Connect the world of software and AI with the world of physical manufacturing (like 3D printers).
  • Architect and build agentic systems and workflows, leveraging both our mechanical design foundation model and frontier models (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, etc.).
  • Establish rigorous evaluation practices, so all the customer sees is magic.
  • Optimize agentic flows for speed and reliability.
  • Contribute deeply to product direction: work with customers, design partners, the AI team, and leadership to new AI capabilities into transformative superpowers for our users.

Requirements

  • Strong command of programming in a modern language (we use Python and javascript)
  • Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, pydantic-ai, or equivalent orchestration frameworks.
  • Solid grasp of agent architecture: tool/function calling, reasoning, multi-agent orchestration, agent loops
  • Hands-on experience with agent evals: trajectory evaluation, tool call accuracy, benchmarking
  • Experience integrating LLM-based systems into user-facing web products
  • Operate with a leader’s mindset: set technical direction, create alignment and clarity with engineers and leadership, and deliver results.
