About the role
- Own a customer-facing product that is powered by an interactive AI workflow.
- Connect the world of software and AI with the world of physical manufacturing (like 3D printers).
- Architect and build agentic systems and workflows, leveraging both our mechanical design foundation model and frontier models (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, etc.).
- Establish rigorous evaluation practices, so all the customer sees is magic.
- Optimize agentic flows for speed and reliability.
- Contribute deeply to product direction: work with customers, design partners, the AI team, and leadership to new AI capabilities into transformative superpowers for our users.
Requirements
- Strong command of programming in a modern language (we use Python and javascript)
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, pydantic-ai, or equivalent orchestration frameworks.
- Solid grasp of agent architecture: tool/function calling, reasoning, multi-agent orchestration, agent loops
- Hands-on experience with agent evals: trajectory evaluation, tool call accuracy, benchmarking
- Experience integrating LLM-based systems into user-facing web products
- Operate with a leader’s mindset: set technical direction, create alignment and clarity with engineers and leadership, and deliver results.
