About the role

  • Own the full sales motion from cold outreach through post-campaign revenue, driving growth for both creators and BackerKit.
  • Hit and exceed quarterly targets while balancing strategic, high-value deals with faster-moving campaigns.
  • Use a challenger mindset to uncover real goals, reframe challenges, and guide creators to stronger results.
  • Lead sharp discovery calls, engaging demos, and clear proposals that showcase BackerKit’s value.
  • Build pipeline through consistent cold outreach and high activity, always focused on quality conversations.
  • Stay organized and proactive in Salesforce, managing follow-ups and forecasting with precision.
  • Consult with creators on campaign strategy, challenging assumptions and helping them build smarter, more successful campaigns.
  • Partner across teams to ensure campaigns launch smoothly and perform beyond funding.
  • Adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment, taking initiative as priorities shift and new opportunities emerge.
  • Experiment constantly, share what works, and help evolve our sales playbook as we scale.

Requirements

  • You have 3–7+ years of full-cycle sales experience. No direct crowdfunding experience needed, but experience in SaaS, creator economy, or consultative B2B is a plus.
  • You consistently hit and exceed quota and thrive on measurable results.
  • You’re self-directed, resourceful, and motivated to grow your career in a company that values initiative and results.
  • You’re comfortable with multiple sales methodologies and have experience with consultative or challenger approaches.
  • You love the hunt, building pipeline, and managing outreach at scale.
  • You can balance long, complex deal cycles with faster wins without losing focus.
  • You’re organized, proactive, and excel at follow-up, forecasting, and keeping deals moving.
  • You thrive in an iterative, data-driven startup culture and enjoy pivoting strategies based on new insights.
  • You communicate clearly, negotiate effectively, and bring confidence to every conversation.
  • You’re based in the US.
