About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the full partnership pipeline, from first conversation to live program.
  • Lead outreach, pitching, negotiation, and contract structuring with priority brands across Home Appliances, Laptops, Consoles, Mobile, and Tech Accessories.
  • Manage relationships with commercial brands partners, aligning business objectives with key stakeholders.
  • Drive CPO alliance expansion with a priority focus on UK and US.
  • Design and scale commercial bundles that increase perceived value.
  • Ensure smooth transitions to BD onboarding and then to account management.
  • Coordinate with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Track and improve KPIs across pipeline health, "Certified by" growth, bundle GMV, and AOV impact.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective brand and bundle partners.
  • Represent Back Market externally at relevant industry events.
  • Benchmark our partnership offer vs. competitors and flag emerging opportunities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years in BD, brand partnerships, or commercial alliances, ideally in e-commerce, marketplace, or consumer tech
  • Closed and managed complex deals with large, multi-stakeholder organizations
  • Move fast, work autonomously, and don't wait to be handed a playbook
  • Data-driven able to translate pipeline metrics into clear business recommendations
  • Communicate clearly, whether pitching a brand partner or aligning internal teams
  • Fluent in English (French is a plus)
  • Multi-market experience (EU + US) is strongly preferred.
