About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Guide the market to deliver sales goals and objectives within the territory and key customer accounts
  • Develop and execute customer strategies and business plans
  • Maintain an account list of top influential accounts and deliver KPI goals
  • Act as Bacardi’s day-to-day contact for distributors, customers, and agency partners
  • Drive new business and maintain sustainable customer relationships
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Bacardi resources and distributor partners to maximize performance and sales
  • Develop and strengthen key customer account relationships through impactful presentations and return-on-investment evaluation
  • Manage the market budget to increase profitability
  • Apply knowledge of retail finances, pricing, and logistics
  • Provide market and competitive brand updates to the commercial team
  • Communicate changing field conditions, distributor staffing changes, and competitor updates
  • Engage with State Manager and Senior State Manager to hire and develop successful Primos
  • Collaborate with distributors, Bacardi Account Managers, and Brand Marketing
  • Survey the market to ensure distribution, pricing, point-of-sale materials, displays, and programs are executed to standard
  • Review overall market performance, including rate-of-sale drivers, activations, and executions
  • Travel to Mammoth approximately once per quarter

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or related years of experience
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the spirits or beverage industry
  • 2+ years of on/off-premise experience preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the on- and off-premise business and factors influencing customer business decisions
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to give presentations to executives, employees, vendors, and customers
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to use advanced computer functions, including navigating the Internet
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and consumer trends
  • Strong organizational and dependability skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, distributor partners, and internal employees
