About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Electrical design and schematic development for HVAC systems.
- Create wiring diagrams and top-level schematics.
- Route and model 3D wiring harnesses in creo parametric.
- Create and maintain bill of materials for electrical assemblies.
- Create and revise electrical assembly drawings, layouts, and design documentation.
- Assist with prototype builds.
- Maintain bills of materials and engineering documentation.
- Develop component placement concepts and review with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Deliver technical designs to meet project and product requirements.
- Design electrical systems, schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts for HVAC products.
- Lead portions of design activities by coordinating with engineers, manufacturing teams, and other stakeholders to meet project goals.
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate electrical design documentation and revisions.
- Support and help drive prototype builds.
- Take ownership of assigned design tasks and help keep deliverables on schedule.
- Support continuous improvement efforts in design processes, documentation quality, and product reliability.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s Degree in Design or Engineering Technology (or related discipline) and at least 5-years of work experience using computer aided graphic solutions is required; OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of an Associate’s Degree.
- Experience in SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, Pro Engineer or CAD/AutoCAD.
