About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Electrical design and schematic development for HVAC systems.
Create wiring diagrams and top-level schematics.
Route and model 3D wiring harnesses in creo parametric.
Create and maintain bill of materials for electrical assemblies.
Create and revise electrical assembly drawings, layouts, and design documentation.
Assist with prototype builds.
Maintain bills of materials and engineering documentation.
Develop component placement concepts and review with engineering and manufacturing teams.
Deliver technical designs to meet project and product requirements.
Design electrical systems, schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts for HVAC products.
Lead portions of design activities by coordinating with engineers, manufacturing teams, and other stakeholders to meet project goals.
Prepare, review, and maintain accurate electrical design documentation and revisions.
Support and help drive prototype builds.
Take ownership of assigned design tasks and help keep deliverables on schedule.
Support continuous improvement efforts in design processes, documentation quality, and product reliability.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate’s Degree in Design or Engineering Technology (or related discipline) and at least 5-years of work experience using computer aided graphic solutions is required; OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of an Associate’s Degree.
Experience in SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, Pro Engineer or CAD/AutoCAD.
