About the role
- Support the development of the Group PLM blueprint and lead the implementation and rollout of PLM across Marine.
- Develop and manage a team of Subject Matter Experts, ensuring capability across PLM, CAD, engineering data and digital tools.
- Define and oversee governance for engineering information and data workflows.
- Establish a recharge model and governance framework for engineering software.
- Govern and develop AI use cases across Marine to drive efficiency and engineering innovation.
Requirements
- Extensive experience establishing and delivering information and data workflows for complex products across the full lifecycle.
- Strong expertise with industry-standard PLM tools such as Dassault, Windchill or Teamcenter.
- Significant experience using and configuring CAD tools including Autodesk, SolidWorks, Hexagon Smart 3D, Siemens FORAN or AVEVA Marine.
- Experience working with UK MOD frameworks (e.g., CADMID) including configuration management and digital engineering strategy.
- Degree in an engineering or technology discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Chartered membership of a relevant professional institution.
- No security or trade limitations.
- Must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
