About the role

  • Supporting both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities
  • Assisting the Shift Maintenance and Support Engineer with fault diagnosis within the Skynet Network
  • Preparing fault reports and accurately recording all maintenance activities
  • Maintaining and supporting Skynet infrastructure systems through routine and scheduled maintenance
  • Following authorized procedures, manuals, work orders, service schedules, and technical documentation as directed by the Operations Support Supervisor
  • Collaborating with operations teams to troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems
  • Adhering to all site Health & Safety and Radiation policies

Requirements

  • Experience of working to safety procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Technical background in an Engineering system discipline.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience in maintaining and diagnosing faults in communication equipment.
  • GCSE or Equivalent in Grade C in Maths, English and a science-based subject.
  • ONC/HNC in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
