About the role
- Completing planned preventative maintenance and nuclear-related tasks to meet operational goals.
- Performing electrical fitting, repairs and inspections on marine systems and equipment.
- Identifying and resolving system defects to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Following health and safety protocols and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating across departments to support wider engineering operations.
Requirements
- Background in marine or industrial engineering, with electrical maintenance experience.
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
- Skilled in reading technical drawings and solving problems with precision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
- Recognised Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship qualified to SVQ Level 3 (or NVQ or City & Guilds equivalent), or HNC and above in an Electrical Engineering discipline with relevant industry experience.
- Must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
