About the role

  • Help develop cutting-edge solutions to tackle complex and mission-critical challenges
  • Embed in the Mission Systems business to contribute to innovative AI-focused software solutions
  • Gain experience through a mix of university studies at Exeter University and work placements
  • Work on various projects involving AI models, database design, edge computing, and user interfaces
  • Participate in the design, specification, implementation, and testing of software and associated systems

Requirements

  • A minimum of five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
  • A minimum of three A Levels at grade B or above, preferably in related subjects such as Mathematics, Science, or IT
  • BTEC Extended Diploma at MMM
  • Other qualifications equivalent to 96 UCAS tariff points
  • Strong IT proficiency
  • Familiarity with software development tools and web technologies (such as HTML)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) clearance
