About the role

  • Help drive smarter, safer and more resilient asset strategies across key defence programmes supporting the British Army.
  • Influence decisions that enhance national security, improve fleet reliability and support the long‑term performance of critical military equipment.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic vision for asset management using data, modelling and insight to guide how equipment is supported across its entire lifecycle.
  • Lead the assessment and statistical modelling of asset failure risks to inform decision-making.
  • Develop insights and intelligence to support Through Life Equipment Support (TLES) contracts.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Asset Management team in developing its strategic digital approach.
  • Collaborate across engineering, data, commercial and customer teams to improve asset performance.

Requirements

  • Using data to identify insights and produce clear, concise business reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with SAP and other business reporting tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Proven stakeholder management experience.
  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain a Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
