About the role

  • Supporting the Planning Specialist to maximise efficient use of resources across maintenance activities.
  • Creating, updating and maintaining planned maintenance tasks within the Enterprise Resource Planning system.
  • Issuing work orders for maintenance and reactive tasks, ensuring all prerequisites are met before work begins.
  • Liaising with maintenance teams to monitor progress, resolve issues, update schedules and process documentation.
  • Attending weekly planning meetings to review and reschedule maintenance to maximise berth availability.

Requirements

  • Experience of planning procedures and processes.
  • Background in maintenance management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience in planning and project management activities.
  • Understanding of process improvement techniques.
  • HNC in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Additional engineering or maintenance‑related qualifications - Desirable.
  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
