About the role

  • Help craft and communicate Babcock’s equity investment case bringing data to life
  • Inform capital markets, and enable long‑term, sustainable value creation
  • Shape messaging, prepare market‑facing materials, and respond to analyst and investor queries
  • Deliver investor communications, build results presentations, briefings, and materials for sell‑side conferences, seminars and roadshows
  • Develop clear investment messaging grounded in robust analysis and insight
  • Respond to analyst and investor queries as a credible point of contact
  • Maintain and analyse CRM records of investor interactions to surface trends and areas of interest

Requirements

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with demonstrable experience in a finance role (Group or commercial).
  • Ability to interpret complex data and present information concisely and accurately.
  • Strong financial acumen including corporate financial statements, financial modelling and analysis.
  • Stakeholder management experience with the confidence to engage senior leaders and external parties.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the gravitas to handle demanding external queries.
