About the role
- Lead the interpretation of human performance data and convert it into insight that informs strategic and operational decisions.
- Design and maintain dashboards, models and reports (e.g., Python, R, Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) to monitor trends and measure impact.
- Partner across departments and with external stakeholders to communicate findings and embed an insight‑led approach to performance optimisation.
- Shape investment priorities by evidencing outcomes and recommending data‑driven improvements.
- Champion data quality, governance and continuous improvement across performance platforms (e.g., AWS, SAP, Oracle).
Requirements
- Proven experience in an analytical or insight‑focused role within performance, health, defence, elite sport, or other high‑pressure environments.
- Demonstrated ability to turn data into insight that directly informs programme decisions or policy.
- Proficiency with analytical tools such as Python, Foundry, R, Excel (advanced), SQL, Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience working with or managing data platforms such as AWS, SAP or Oracle.
- Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Minimum Master’s degree (MSc) in Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, Psychology, Sports Science, or a related discipline with a strong analytical component.
- Preferred: PhD in a relevant discipline.
