About the role

  • As an Assistant Project Manager at Babcock, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Collins Sustainment Program
  • Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take responsibility for day-to-day project management activities, ensuring safety, scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources are effectively managed
  • This role offers the opportunity to develop and apply your project management skills in an environment of limited complexity, where you will gain exposure to end-to-end project delivery
  • From planning and reporting to stakeholder management and client-facing responsibilities, you will be actively involved in ensuring project outcomes are achieved while building your capability in line with Babcock’s Global Project Management Framework

Requirements

  • Hold relevant Project Management qualification
  • AIPM Certified Practitioner working towards Certification in Project Management
  • Full project lifecycle experience from bid phase through to close out
  • Application of core project management techniques
  • Ideally recent and relevant experience in a similar environment / business sector
  • Ideally awareness of various contracting methodologies
