  • REST API integrations (third-party systems, appointment booking, AI interfaces)

  • Technical project leadership (optional — retainer model) for candidates taking on this role

Requirements

  • German at native speaker level
  • At least 5 years of Drupal experience in the chosen track (back-end, front-end, or full-stack), in a digital agency or comparable environment
  • Drupal 10/11 as an active core competency — not only legacy experience
  • Demonstrable qualification via at least one of the following: Acquia certification matching the track (Back End Specialist, Front End Specialist, or Certified Developer), OR an active Drupal.org profile with verifiable contributions to Drupal 10/11 modules or core, OR a public code portfolio (GitHub/GitLab) with Drupal examples from the last 2 years

  • Technical — Back-end: PHP 8.3+, object-oriented development, dependency injection, Drupal services layer
  • Technical — Front-end: Twig, Drupal theme architecture, component-based development
  • Technical — Full-stack: solid knowledge in both of the above areas
  • Personal: reliability as a non-negotiable trait — deadlines are met, issues are communicated proactively
  • Clean, documented code quality — you write code that others can maintain
  • Ability to work independently in a remote context
  • Interest in a long-term partnership, not one-off assignments
  • Advantageous: understanding of Swiss German
  • Experience with AI integrations in Drupal projects
  • Experience in healthcare, social insurance, or Swiss public institutions
  • Active community participation (DrupalCon, local meetups, issue queue contributions)
  • PSPO certification if interested in technical project leadership

  • Remote work, direct communication without intermediaries
  • Growing project pipeline with Drupal and AI
