About the role

  • Establishment of the technical sales function in the print & press area (machines, systems, services)
  • Development and implementation of a sales strategy in close coordination with management and engineering
  • Analysis of market potential, customer requirements and competitors
  • Technical consulting of customers (B2B) on printing systems, workflows and customized solutions
  • Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships and acquiring new customers
  • Acting as an interface between sales, engineering, service and product management
  • Preparation of offers, cost calculations and technical concepts
  • Introduction of sales processes, CRM structures and KPIs
  • Prospectively: building and leading a sales team

Requirements

  • Completed technical or commercial training or degree (e.g., printing and media technology, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering)
  • Several years of experience in technical sales, ideally in printing, print, packaging or media technology
  • Solid technical understanding of printing processes, machines and workflows
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on mentality
  • Experience in establishing new structures or business units is an advantage
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
  • Very good German language skills; English is a plus
  • Willingness to travel
