About the role

  • Establish and build up the technical sales function in the Printing & Print area (machines, systems, services)
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy in close coordination with management and engineering
  • Analyze market potential, customer requirements and competitors
  • Provide technical consulting to customers (B2B) on printing systems, workflows and customized solutions
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships and acquire new clients
  • Serve as the interface between Sales, Engineering, Service and Product Management
  • Prepare proposals, cost calculations and technical concepts
  • Introduce sales processes, CRM structures and KPIs
  • Prospectively: build and lead a sales team

Requirements

  • Completed technical or commercial training or degree (e.g., Print and Media Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering)
  • Several years of experience in technical sales, ideally in printing, print, packaging or media technology
  • Solid technical understanding of printing processes, machinery and workflows
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on mentality
  • Experience in establishing new structures or business units is an advantage
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
  • Very good German language skills; English is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel
