About the role
- Ensure IT security by implementing policies, monitoring, and administering security components
- Administer and optimize the IT infrastructure (servers, networks, and Microsoft environment)
- Responsible for backup and recovery processes, including testing and optimization
- Install, configure, and operate IT systems with a focus on stability and security
- Monitor and analyze infrastructure and security incidents and implement appropriate measures
- Plan and execute IT projects to further develop the infrastructure in collaboration with business units and external service providers
Requirements
- Degree in (business) computer science or comparable vocational training, e.g., IT specialist (Fachinformatiker)
- Relevant experience in IT infrastructure and IT security
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365 administration, Windows Server, as well as firewall and network configuration
- Team player with strong communication skills for collaborating with distributed teams and various stakeholders
- Very good written and spoken German (at least C1 level) and good English skills
- Driver’s license class B
