About the role
- Responsible for managing, motivating and training of a Foodservice Broker team in the Northeast.
- Direct contact to all Tier 1, 2 & 3 distributors and major operators.
- Attain assigned sales objectives and profitably grow B&G product sales.
- Assign sales and trade spend objectives with a broker team.
- Manage a region trade fund budget.
- Proactively work cross-functionally to develop, execute and deliver on regional objectives.
- Conduct broker training to improve product knowledge.
- Work with Broker representatives on end user calls.
- Assist in National / Regional trade shows.
- Establish and manage distributor programs while maximizing trade spend efficiencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Business, Economics, Marketing, or Finance preferred
- 8-10 years Foodservice experience required
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and motivating a large broker sales team required
- Excellent written and oral presentation capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel; PowerPoint; Word)
- Knowledge of distributor and operator foodservice environment and an ability to analyze sales data and develop action plans that deliver company objectives.
- Familiarity with P&L’s
- A positive attitude and ability to work well within a high functioning team environment
