About the role

  • Responsible for managing, motivating and training of a Foodservice Broker team in the Northeast.
  • Direct contact to all Tier 1, 2 & 3 distributors and major operators.
  • Attain assigned sales objectives and profitably grow B&G product sales.
  • Assign sales and trade spend objectives with a broker team.
  • Manage a region trade fund budget.
  • Proactively work cross-functionally to develop, execute and deliver on regional objectives.
  • Conduct broker training to improve product knowledge.
  • Work with Broker representatives on end user calls.
  • Assist in National / Regional trade shows.
  • Establish and manage distributor programs while maximizing trade spend efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Business, Economics, Marketing, or Finance preferred
  • 8-10 years Foodservice experience required
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and motivating a large broker sales team required
  • Excellent written and oral presentation capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel; PowerPoint; Word)
  • Knowledge of distributor and operator foodservice environment and an ability to analyze sales data and develop action plans that deliver company objectives.
  • Familiarity with P&L’s
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well within a high functioning team environment
