About the role
- Maintain product stewardship standards by supporting pricing updates, gathering costing inputs, reviewing product standards and performance, and working with S&OP and Production to maintain continuity
- Coordinate new product introduction process by driving the stage-gate system, supporting road mapping, liaising with Quality, Finance, R&D, AE, S&OP, and Production on deliverables, while serving as the primary process gatekeeper
- Provide technical support materials by partnering with MarCom and BD managers to launch product packages, literature, and technical bulletins, and creating and maintaining standardized product datasheets
- Coordinate sample requests for new products by ensuring commercial sample activity is tracked, facilitating customer feedback, and preparing summary reports for New Product Introduction (NPI) reviews
- Promote new and existing products by partnering with MarCom and BD to develop training materials, leading rollout communications, and delivering value-proposition presentations to internal stakeholders
- Coordinate product change notifications by ensuring due diligence in necessary evaluations and summarizing rationale and justification for change to raw materials, packaging, specifications, shelf life, or other product attributes
- Execute product sunsetting plans by reviewing sales history, collaborating with BD and Sales to phase out low-performing SKUs, and coordinating with Customer Support and S&OP on timing and replacements
- Maintain subject matter expertise by tracking product, market, and competitor developments and providing input for product technology roadmaps, managed product lines, and benchmarking
Requirements
- BS/BA Degree in marketing, business administration, engineering, or equivalency
- 3+ years experience in industrial B2B marketing, sales, or technical support; Application Engineering or chemical industry experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
