About the role
- Part-time Project Manager to help lead client initiatives and internal projects, collaborating with AZX founders, engineers, and AI specialists
- Manage client engagements from initiation to delivery, ensuring outcomes are achieved and expectations met
- Coordinate software and AI solution design and implementation with internal teams and client stakeholders
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions, translating discussions into clear action plans
- Build and maintain project standards, checklists, and documentation that improve efficiency and repeatability
- Track milestones, manage risks and dependencies, and provide clear reporting to clients and internal stakeholders
- Support development of early-stage prototypes and pilots that advance sustainability and operational innovation
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience in technology or related industries
- Track record delivering custom-built software, AI, or data solutions with measurable outcomes
- Strong technical literacy (comfortable discussing system architecture, APIs, or ML deployment with engineers)
- Familiarity with one or more of AZX’s focus industries: energy, utilities, real estate, logistics, or infrastructure
- Proficiency with project management tools and methods (Agile, Kanban, Jira, Asana, etc.)
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in both startup and enterprise environments (bonus)
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics solutions (bonus)
- Contributions to the professional community (publications, talks, open-source work) (bonus)
