About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Overall responsibility for the Group Controlling and Investor Relations function
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports as well as consolidated forecasts and budgets
  • Analysis of company performance and derivation of action-oriented recommendations for management
  • Management of the budgeting, forecasting and planning process at group level
  • Creation and continuous improvement of management reports and KPI dashboards
  • Further development of planning and reporting processes, including automation
  • Support with strategic projects such as M&A, integration of new entities, profitability analyses and investment appraisals
  • Development and continuous improvement of a regular reporting system (monthly presentation of relevant KPIs to improve steering of the individual entities)
  • Leadership, development and motivation of the Global FP&A & Investor team
  • Independent and intensive management of relationships with external stakeholders and outreach to new potential investors
  • Contributing to the optimal provision of information to the capital market and to the further development and presentation of our equity story
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for capital market communication
  • Preparation and further development of our external and internal investor relations presentations and reports
  • Support in the planning and execution of the Annual General Meeting
  • Development and implementation of communication concepts, formats and measures for internal communication
  • Preparation of presentations for internal events and projects
  • Regular evaluation of the communication channels used with regard to content, impact and efficiency, with a view to the continuous improvement of external communication

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You have a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling or a comparable qualification
  • You have several years of professional experience in group controlling
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of group structures, financial models as well as reporting and planning processes
  • You are proficient in working with common controlling tools and ERP systems
  • You have strong analytical skills and an excellent understanding of figures
  • You are characterised by strong communication skills, assertiveness and the ability to present complex issues in a clear and understandable way
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English is mandatory
  • In-depth knowledge of German GAAP (HGB), including group accounting, consolidation, and disclosure requirements, with the ability to translate complex accounting matters into clear guidance for management
  • Proven experience in Investor Relations, including preparing capital market communications (e.g. annual and quarterly reports, investor presentations), managing relationships with analysts and investors, and supporting earnings calls and roadshows.
