About the role
- Understanding and performing all functions related to an assigned project
- Ensure that all SOPs are properly followed
- Maintain communications, receives, and executes tasks as assigned and within timeline
- Sample receipt and QC, coordinating and triaging shipments to appropriate departments/vendors
- Freezer defrosting and cleaning, destruction of samples as permitted, and return of samples back into inventory
- Coordinate with Azenta On-site leadership to anticipate customer needs
- Initiate communication with multiple contacts within customer site to maintain or cultivate relationships
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all established safety and universal precautions guidelines
Requirements
- Associates degree in related field
- 2-3 years of experience with handling preclinical and clinical samples preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences preferred
- Ability and willingness to work with LN2 (after appropriate training is received)
- Work safely with radioactive materials; follow guidelines for handling, shipping, and disposal of these materials
