About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install, modify, repair, diagnose, and perform preventive maintenance on cryogenic storage equipment
Support customers using automated cryo storage systems and ensure optimal system performance
Maintain a safe and compliant working environment with safety protocols
Accurately document service activities through Service Reports, Status Reports, and performance summaries
Respond productively to changing priorities, including system alerts and escalations
Act as a point of contact for customers and internal Azenta management
Provide weekly system performance summaries and support KPI measurement requests

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate of Science (AS) degree, technical certificate, or equivalent hands-on technical training
Minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience, or equivalent military technical training
Strong electrical and mechanical fundamentals
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Valid driver’s license, good driving record, reliable transportation, and ability to obtain a valid passport during employment
Ability to successfully pass background screening requirements
Located on the US East Coast with convenient access to a major airport
