About the role

  • Manage portfolio of product lines from existing suppliers
  • Build internal and external relationships
  • Achieve growth objectives (sales, volume GP)
  • Meet principal reporting requirements
  • Work with Sales Leaders and Account Managers to develop sales and new business
  • Collaborate with principal and sales teams to drive actions needed to close customer projects
  • Monitor, report and act on market and competitor activities
  • Negotiate supplier costing and establish selling price and margin objectives
  • Ownership of demand forecasting
  • Communicate forecast to the Principal
  • Manage inventory level and strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in relevant field
  • 5 years of progressive experience in sales / commercial roles
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Financial / Commercial Awareness
  • Negotiation skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage details on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong Computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, CRM, ERP, Demand Planning
  • Available to work outside business hours and travel away from home on occasion.
