Participate in planning and refinement meetings to understand requirements and test scenarios, align with the team, and gain knowledge of the development process;
Assist in creating and documenting simple test scenarios, collaborating with more experienced analysts, using provided templates and guidelines to learn how to translate requirements into structured test cases;
Execute manual tests and record results, following defined test plans and logging all details in the issue tracking tool to ensure basic functionality validation and software reliability;
Support validation of bug fixes by running targeted tests to confirm corrections, identify potential impacts, and learn about the defect lifecycle;
Assist in identifying and reporting defects during test execution, analyzing and recording detailed information about issues found and communicating with the team to ensure problems are properly documented and forwarded for resolution.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Networks, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields
White-box testing
Black-box testing
Knowledge of BDD test development techniques
Scrum and Kanban methodologies
Knowledge of exploratory, functional, and non-functional testing
Requirements analysis techniques
Familiarity with testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber)
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MSSQL, and Git
