About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Point Cloud Registration & Processing (primary focus)
Import, register, and QC scan projects in Leica Register360 and Cyclone.
Support point cloud registration and processing using NavVis Ivion.
Shadow and progressively take ownership of related data processing tasks in a variety of software platforms.
Assist in review of OPUS reports and control point observations.
Support review of aerial photogrammetry and drone-captured imagery outputs.
Identify and implement opportunities to automate file handling.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual processing time in point cloud registration.
Strengthen documentation practices so that processing decisions and QC checks are traceable.
Assist with terrestrial 3D laser scanning.
Help coordinate field activities with internal teams and project stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. in engineering, geomatics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in a technical, data-intensive, or built-environment-adjacent role (project controls, field surveying, or similar all qualify).
Demonstrated proficiency in data workflow tools appropriate to the role (e.g., scripting, database, or automation platforms).
Strong documentation habits and QA/QC discipline; ability to learn new specialized software quickly.
Valid driver's license.
Comfortable with occasional fieldwork and travel (up to 50%).
Prior hands-on land surveying or site engineering experience (preferred).
EIT certification or equivalent technical credential (preferred).
Exposure to LiDAR, photogrammetry, or point cloud concepts (preferred).
