About the role
- Assist with tracking federal opportunities, including sources sought notices, RFIs, and RFPs
- Support research on agencies, contract vehicles, and procurement trends
- Help draft and edit capability summaries, sources sought inputs, and other pursuit materials
- Organize proposal files, resumes, project sheets, and past performance information
- Support development of compliance checklists, outlines, and submission trackers
- Assist with proofreading, formatting, and assembling proposal documents
- Attend capture and proposal meetings and document action items
- Help maintain internal content libraries and templates
- Perform other related business development and proposal support tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Current undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate, in English, Communications, Business, Marketing, Political Science, Public Policy, Journalism, Engineering Management, Construction Management, or a related field
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
- Interest in federal contracting, public sector work, business development, or proposal management
