About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support SOC operations and interact with analysts at other levels, infrastructure and development teams;
Handle and respond to security incidents following procedures, SLAs and playbooks;
Perform root cause investigations, prepare technical reports and recommend corrective actions;
Act in containment, eradication and post-incident recovery phases, including hardening measures;
Implement and review security best practices for servers, workstations, network and cloud;
Create and maintain technical documentation, playbooks, runbooks and the SOC knowledge base;
Participate in technical meetings to define priorities and plan improvements;
Interface with infrastructure, application and compliance teams;
Maintain structured records of incidents, evidence and lessons learned to improve processes;
Manage network security, administer firewalls, antivirus and protection policies;
Administer and support the Microsoft 365 platform (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive).

Requirements

What you’ll need

Pursuing or completed a degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields.
Basic knowledge of security principles (confidentiality, integrity, availability);
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows and Linux) and security tools (antivirus, IDS/IPS);
Basic understanding of vulnerability analysis and risk management;
Ability to interpret system logs and events;
Knowledge of operating systems relevant to networks, such as Windows Server and Linux, and their respective networking tools;
Understanding of network security principles such as authentication, authorization and encryption;
Preferred: Completed higher education in technology-related areas and certifications.
