About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Process and release daily equipment lease/loan fundings alongside the team
Perform and oversee lockbox and ACH cash receipt review and cash application
Enter and review daily cash activity across company bank accounts within the general ledger system
Research and resolve complex payment, contract rate, and account variances
Process and/or approve returned payment, refund, and payoff transactions
Maintain and review the advanced payment ledger and related suspense accounts
Perform and oversee syndication support activities, including fund transfers, payoff and clawback tracking, and late-fee remittance
Process and/or review vendor and dealer commission, billing, and revenue-sharing payments
Prepare and/or review recurring servicing reports and handle audit confirmation requests
Perform manual asset-level billing tasks for vendors
Maintain or direct maintenance of contract, funding, and lockbox tracking spreadsheets and systems
Assign and prioritize team workload while handling day-to-day servicing volume
Train, coach, and mentor servicing team members through hands-on collaboration
Identify, evaluate, and lead adoption of AI-enabled tools and automation for servicing tasks
Report to the SVP of Operations
Coordinate with internal accounting and treasury partners, the third-party servicer, vendors, dealers, and syndication partners

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree preferred; in lieu of a degree, 7–10 years of relevant financial services operations experience, including 2 or more years in a lead or supervisory capacity
Strong knowledge of equipment lease/loan servicing operations, including cash application, funding, and review processes within commercial finance or leasing
Experience leading, supervising, or coaching a servicing or operations team
Proficiency with general ledger and financial systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics
Advanced spreadsheet skills
Familiarity with loan/lease servicing platforms, lockbox processing, and ACH/EFT payment handling
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex payment, contract, and account variances
Ability to manage competing priorities and recurring daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly deadlines accurately
Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Working understanding of accounting and general ledger concepts related to servicing transactions
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial, customer, and contract information
Familiarity with AI-enabled and automation tools for servicing or financial operations
Ability to evaluate, implement, and lead team adoption of new technology
Successful completion of a credit check, criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana screening
Must satisfy U.S. employment eligibility verification requirements
