About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee and manage the company's accounting operations within the designated area
Ensure the production of accurate financial reports
Enhance the accuracy of the entity's reported financial results
Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and SOX standards
Assist in maintaining and updating a documented system of accounting policies, procedures, and process documents
Review and process approved GL maintenance transactions
Complete primary review of specified reconciliations
Implement new accounting systems and integrate current systems
Assist in executing the month end close process
Prepare support for independent public accounting auditors, regulators, and internal auditors
Create analysis related to new regulatory or business models

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance roles
Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively
