About the role
- Reviews, investigates and actions potential fraud cases and alerts to mitigate loss.
- Monitors and arrange for recovery of losses incurred by fraudulent activities.
- Take-action on questionable accounts by restricting, closing, or rejecting the opening of new accounts
- Assists account holders who are victims of fraudulent activity
- Maintain a working knowledge of fraud prevention guidelines and techniques
- Communicate via phone, email and/ or letters with other bank employees, account holders, and Financial institutions
- Escalates questionable activity via submission of Questionable Activity Report
- Verifies adherence to Bank policies, operating procedures and processes
Requirements
- 4+ years’ banking experience in a retail or operational environment
- Knowledge in banking products and services
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
