About the role

  • Lead and mature client-facing integrations to deliver Axon technology to public safety partners
  • Architect and deliver integrations, system interface construction, technical project scoping, and system analysis
  • Implement processes to ensure quality, productivity, and client satisfaction
  • Manage technical projects remotely and at client sites (travel up to 40%)
  • Engage with client technical and non-technical leadership and communicate project progress
  • Collaborate with account management, product, engineering, sales, and agency technical stakeholders
  • Identify integration opportunities between agency systems and Axon products and recommend deployment plans
  • Capture requirements, build and test third-party solutions in development environments and assess feasibility
  • Work with Director of Integrations and developers to build, document, test, and deploy integrations
  • Write code to leverage API capabilities and work with DevOps to merge automation code for repetitive tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of experience in analyzing and developing technical systems and software solutions
  • Expert networking knowledge including LAN/WAN, security, IP Video and Video Management Systems
  • Expert-level understanding of Linux frameworks and containerization platforms (Docker preferred)
  • Advanced understanding of cloud technologies and data management tools (AWS and/or Azure)
  • Advanced experience with IT business processes including Architecture Review Boards and IT Security Reviews
  • Advanced hands-on experience with API structures and systems integration (REST, SOAP)
  • Advanced skills in SQL, Python, Java, and Cloud (AWS and/or Azure)
  • Demonstrated system-level understanding of enterprise software systems
  • Project Management experience and/or certifications (PMI) a plus
  • Ability to handle confidential and highly sensitive information
  • Fluent English, Spanish and Portuguese
