About the role
- Location: This role is based out of our Boston, MA office and follows a hybrid schedule; onsite Mondays through Thursdays and remote Fridays
- Generate pipeline by identifying opportunities within our customer base and creating qualified opportunities
- Work closely with senior sales representatives and collaborate with business development and core selling teams on account strategy
- Articulate how Axon services (software and hardware) can solve customer challenges and enable customers to get the most out of their investment
- Engage with customers using a consultative selling approach and create a positive, world class experience
- Utilize industry expertise and business acumen to understand customer motivation, business drivers, strategic goals and desired business outcomes
- Meet or exceed quota and support lead generation efforts
- Reports to Senior Manager, Inside Sales
Requirements
- 2+ years of sales experience in a sales development role
- Proven track record of success
- Highly energetic self-starter who’s eager to learn
- Attention to detail with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- You are customer-focused with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain Director, VP or C-level relationships where you are recognized as a trusted advisor
- Deep understanding of customer success principles, approaches and considerations
- Knowledgeable of technology and solid business-to-business sales experience
- Experience in pipeline and lead generation; ability to consistently meet or exceed quota
- Consultative selling approach and collaboration with business development and core selling teams
- Some roles may require legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment
