About the role

  • Location: This role is based out of our Boston, MA office and follows a hybrid schedule; onsite Mondays through Thursdays and remote Fridays
  • Generate pipeline by identifying opportunities within our customer base and creating qualified opportunities
  • Work closely with senior sales representatives and collaborate with business development and core selling teams on account strategy
  • Articulate how Axon services (software and hardware) can solve customer challenges and enable customers to get the most out of their investment
  • Engage with customers using a consultative selling approach and create a positive, world class experience
  • Utilize industry expertise and business acumen to understand customer motivation, business drivers, strategic goals and desired business outcomes
  • Meet or exceed quota and support lead generation efforts
  • Reports to Senior Manager, Inside Sales

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience in a sales development role
  • Proven track record of success
  • Highly energetic self-starter who’s eager to learn
  • Attention to detail with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • You are customer-focused with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain Director, VP or C-level relationships where you are recognized as a trusted advisor
  • Deep understanding of customer success principles, approaches and considerations
  • Knowledgeable of technology and solid business-to-business sales experience
  • Experience in pipeline and lead generation; ability to consistently meet or exceed quota
  • Consultative selling approach and collaboration with business development and core selling teams
  • Some roles may require legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment
