About the role
- Location: This role is based out of one of our hub locations (Scottsdale AZ, Atlanta GA, Denver CO, Boston MA, Seattle WA, Washington DC, San Francisco CA) and follows a hybrid schedule, onsite Tuesdays through Fridays with flexibility on Mondays
- Reports to: Senior Manager of Professional Services
- Travel: 10%
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop detailed project plans to track progress
- Configure and stage customer equipment in preparation for deployment
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Deliver technical support during deployment phases, ensuring adherence to Axon standards
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology , Networking, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in advanced computer network implementation, encompassing systems software, applications software, hardware, and configuration management
- Advanced understanding of networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and IPv4/IPv6
- Experience with IP-based Ethernet networks, including layer 2, layer 3, and firewall configurations
- Familiarity with 4G/5G LTE technologies, APNs, and WWAN solutions
- Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of applications on Windows-based, iOS, and Android operating systems
- Proficiency with networking tools (e.g., cmd, ping, tracert, netstat, nslookup)
- Experience leading deployment readiness through detailed project planning and resource coordination
- Expertise in generating comprehensive project documentation, including network diagrams and deployment reports
- Collaborates with internal teams and customers to validate deployment plans and ensure readiness
- Manages pre-deployment data to enable successful field execution
- Monitors deployment progress and addresses deviations proactively
- Delivers technical support during deployment phases, ensuring adherence to Axon standards
