About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Leads the strategic implementation and focused growth of educational and training courses
Develops curriculum, training programs, and educational resources requiring clinical knowledge and interpretation of complex medical information and clinical evidence
Executes large-scale national education programs and regional/local events within budget
Collaborates cross-functionally with market development partners, commercial team, medical affairs, and others
Creates, monitors, and reports metrics and KPIs for assigned educational activities
Facilitates educational grants and sponsorships with external applicants and internal compliance/medical affairs partners
Collaborates with and coaches field sales representatives on appropriate use of educational resources
Identifies, manages, and maintains relationships with key opinion leaders and brand advocates
Develops program faculty, including onboarding, speaker training, and presentation-material development
Serves as course instructor for assigned medical and professional training activities
Serves as technical advisor for Axogen technologies and products
Provides training and technical support to customers regarding therapeutic indications, clinical trends, and scientific publications
Drafts and maintains relevant standard operating procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in science, Education, Engineering, Business, and/or a related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the medical device or health sciences industry
Computer literacy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to travel as necessary
Must reside near a major airport
Adherence to federal, state, AATB, company, and ethical requirements
50–70% national and international travel
