Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with product leaders to spike on possibilities and prototype aggressively
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers in code design, systems thinking, and driving AI agents effectively
Write backend business logic, extend our API, integrate with third-party services, build frontend UI
Improve system performance and resilience, upgrade our tech stack, and go after ambitious projects
Own what you ship in production and ensure reliability as a first-class feature

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years as a professional software engineer on teams building full stack cloud-native web apps
Ideally with PHP, but any object-oriented language works too
React apps in TypeScript
Experience building well-structured, readily comprehensible, easily maintainable software that balances practicality with elegance
MySQL, using both PHP-based ORMs and raw SQL
Designing and building RESTful APIs, and integrating with third-party APIs
Able to work remotely from the Eastern, Central, or Mountain time zones
Qualified to work in the United States or Canada
