About the role
- Provide students with the tools and support needed to navigate emotional challenges, develop coping strategies, and strengthen resilience
- Conduct virtual counseling sessions to offer individualized support and promote mental well-being
- Work closely with schools to identify student needs and coordinate services
- Maintain professional documentation and adhere to ethical and policy standards
- Participate in AXIS Teletherapy community for mentorship, collaboration, and quality service delivery
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Counseling or a related field from a regionally accredited institution
- Utah Department of Education School Counselor
- Required clearances: FBI and Utah Bureau of Investigation background checks within the past year or willing to get them
- 2+ years of experience in a school setting
