About the role
- Take ownership of the full accounts payable cycle while gaining valuable exposure to general ledger, receivables, and compliance work.
- Keep operations running smoothly and help drive process improvements along the way.
- Process vendor invoices with three-way matching, manage payment runs, and reconcile statements.
- Handle intercompany billing and ensure accurate documentation for audit and compliance.
- Post journal entries, support balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with variance analysis.
- Help track cash flow and contribute to a smooth month-end close.
- Step in for Accounts Receivable—billing, monitoring overdue accounts, and reconciliations.
- Support GST reporting, statutory audits, and internal controls (including SOX where applicable).
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant Accounts Payable experience.
- We are open to considering ambitious fresh graduates with a strong academic background and a keen desire to learn.
- Solid working knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger processes.
- Familiarity with Singapore GST and statutory requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet strict deadlines.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Proactive, reliable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to collaborate seamlessly with various stakeholders.
