About the role

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and follow up on opportunities identified by Axios business leaders for new projects or for expanding projects with the pharmaceutical industry at local and regional levels.
  • Request, support and present compelling business proposals and presentations to potential clients.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify growth opportunities and understand the local changes that may affect business opportunities as well as Axios projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in pharmaceutical companies.
  • Follow up on leads within 1 business day of initial contact.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to growth initiatives.
  • Support the development of service offerings based on market demands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical services companies (consulting, quality assurance, marketing agency, patient support program provider or regulatory affairs)
  • Proven track record of achieving business development targets and driving business growth.
  • Extensive network of contacts within the pharmaceutical industry (key decision-makers, procurement managers, quality heads, regulatory professionals) at local and regional levels.
  • Network extending to healthcare providers, hospitals, pharmaceutical distributors, wholesalers, supply chain partners and pharmacy chains.
