About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide support during post-sales activities, including scientific, technical, and application assistance.
  • Deliver hands-on training by scheduling and managing instrument installations, and customer onboarding sessions.
  • Simplify complexity by presenting technical material in an engaging and accessible way, while professionally addressing questions or objections.
  • Advocate for customers by acting as the voice of the customer to internal teams and sharing valuable feedback about product performance.
  • Build relationships by resolving inquiries, investigating complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Master’s or PhD in cell biology, molecular biology, neuroscience, or related field.
  • Ideally 1-2+ years of professional experience
  • The ability to work independently from a home-based office when not traveling.
  • The ability to travel 50-70% of the time within the US.
  • Ideally based in Chicago or the East Coast. Should be situated within 2-hour drive of a major airport.
  • Experience attending scientific conferences and trade shows is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable demeanor.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A self-starter attitude, with creativity, resourcefulness, and the ability to work under pressure.
