About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Counsel sophisticated and diverse clients, including innovative global technology companies.
Provide legal advice to Research & Development, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, Advertising Sales, and Marketing & Communications teams from initial product development through launch.
Support business teams by building consensus on projects from design to launch, including new features, products, services, and programs.
Review global products, features, and platforms and provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies aligned with company goals.
Stay current on industry, data privacy, consumer protection, and advertising laws and regulations.
Work with clients across industries and legal departments globally using Axiom’s alternative legal services and AI tools.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience at a top law firm and/or in-house department as product, technology, commercial, privacy, or IP counsel
Experience taking on complex projects
Active bar license for the state in which you physically reside
Engineers with a law degree are encouraged to apply
Preferred: experience in-house for a technology company
Preferred: experience in-house and partnered with R&D teams and engineers
Preferred: having held the Product Counsel title and launched a product
Employment may be contingent upon successfully completing a background check
Must provide proof of identity
Must possess necessary legal authorization to work
