About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support international trade compliance initiatives, including U.S. and Mexican import/export regulations and cross-border operations.
- Provide guidance on trade compliance matters to business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of trade compliance policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Identify, assess, and help mitigate regulatory risks related to international trade activities.
- Partner with supply chain, logistics, operations, and legal teams to promote compliance with applicable trade regulations.
- Monitor changes in international trade laws and regulations and communicate relevant updates to internal stakeholders.
- Support compliance audits, documentation reviews, and other trade compliance initiatives as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in international trade compliance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. and Mexican trade compliance regulations.
- Professional fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal) is required.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
