Legal / Compliance Consultant – Trade Compliance, Export Control

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide support on global trade compliance with a focus on export controls, product classification (ECCN), licensing, and permitting requirements
- Analyze and interpret complex trade regulations and apply them to business operations across APAC
- Support the regionalization of global trade compliance programs
- Train, mentor, and support trade compliance personnel across Greater China and the broader APAC region
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-12 (+) years experience in global/regional trade compliance and export controls, with strong knowledge of Hong Kong and China/APAC regulations
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Track record of building and regionalizing trade compliance programs
- Supervisory experience
